The Continuing Education Center holds an " Students Intellectual Competition of Al-Warith Schools"
On the sidelines of the recreational scientific visit for students of Al-Warith Schools to Al-Warith AlAnbiyaa University, the Continuing Education Center held an intellectual competition for students on the university's electronic system. The questions varied between general, mathematical and scientific, and in conclusion, prizes were presented to the ten winning students.

The Times Visits Warith Al-Anbiyaa University
For the first time at the level of Iraqi universities, Warith Al-Anbiyaa University hosted an expert committee from the World Rankings (Times) to discuss the possibility of the university's entry into this classification. This came in implementation of the directives of Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister to reach Iraqi universities to the ranks of international universities by hosting experts from different countries and international universities.
Professor Talal Youssef, Dean of Higher Studies and Emerging Technology in Queensland, Australia, said: "We are an international team that includes a number of universities, and our visit came to the young Warith AlAnbiyaa University to exchange views and learn from each other, and to benefit from the experiences of international universities and discuss the strengths that the university possesses to address the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education to generalize the experience. As well as discussing weaknesses to work together and fix them by benefiting from the experiences of international universities to produce satisfactory results.

 A High-Level Delegation Visits Warith Al-Anbiyaa University
In implementation of the directives of the Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, to reach Iraqi universities to the world by entering them in international rankings and evaluations. A high-level delegation that included a number of international universities’ presidents (Malaysian and Australian), accompanied by a delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, visited the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa to see the requirements of the international classification (The Times) provided by the university.
In the past period, the university has been providing all the requirements for entry to many international rankings, the most important of which is the classification of (The Times). The delegation consisted of:


(Prof. Talal), Dean of Graduate Studies and Emerging Technology in Queensland, Australia.


Steve Hall, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, University of Queensland Centre (CQU).


(Jafar Saleh), President of the Academy in Malaysia.


(Nick Davis), Middle East and Africa Officer, United Kingdom.


The two parties agreed to work and cooperate with regard to the development of academic curricula and university studies for the purpose of reaching a conscious and educated generation to ensure a better future as individuals and as a society.

Nursing Students Participation in the Intensive Training Program

In the culmination of the "Ain Al-Hayat" festival, the representative of the Supreme Authority, His Eminence Sheikh Tariq Al-Baghdadi, honored the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him) for its participation in the festival that lasted for three days at the Baghdad International Fairground.

Sheikh Karbalai honors a group of students of Warith Al-Anbiyaa University
On the sidelines of the "Spring of Martyrdom Festival", Sheikh Karbalai honored, His Eminence, and in the presence of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi and Prof. Dr. Waqid Al-Musawi, Dean of the Engineering College, within the idea of honoring creative Iraqis (A group of graduates of Warith Al-Anbiyaa University) for their graduation research in the presence of a number of teachers, students and parents. As well as guests of the festival from outside Iraq whom are fascinated by the kind of research during the presentation that rises to the level of graduate studies.

It is worth mentioning that the activities of the "Ain Al-Hayat" festival kicked off in commemoration of the birth of the awaited Imam Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance) at the Baghdad International Fairgrounds, with the participation of the holy shrines in Iraq.

Under the patronage of the University President, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi, the Scientific Affairs Department/Women Empowerment Unit organized its second annual festival in celebration of International Women's Day.
In a speech delivered to the audience, President Al-Hayawi emphasized the crucial role of women in Iraqi society, acknowledging their sacrifices and contributions across various fields. Dr. Nadal Al-Maliki, representing the Women Empowerment Unit, highlighted the importance of activating women's roles in society, empowering them, enhancing their participation, and emphasizing their role in preserving their families as the nucleus of society.
The festival included an activity for students from the Law College in the virtual court on the topic of electronic extortion. The celebration concluded with the honoring of dedicated female staff members at the university.

In the presence of the religious custodian of the Abbasid Holy Shrine, His Eminence Sayed Ahmed Al-Safi, and the Deputy Secretary-General of the Holy Hussein Shrine, Dr. Alaa Diaa Al-Din, the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa participated, represented by the Media and Public Relations Department, in the (Ain Al-Hayat) festival organized by the "Al-Qabas Foundation for Culture and Development." The festival included the participation of the holy shrines in Iraq and various religious institutions, aiming to clarify the correct ideology and upright behavior to confront intellectual deviations and attacks faced by society, especially in religious aspects, including Mahdavi thought issues.

In a statement made exclusively to the media of the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH), the head of the International Ranking Experts Committee (The Times), Professor Talal Yousef, Dean of Postgraduate Studies and New Technology in Queensland, Australia, stated that the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH) possesses many strengths. The Ministry of Higher Education will be addressed to note these strengths and propagate them it to the rest of the universities, “We saw scientific and technological excellence here.”
Youssef added: “The use of modern technology, the relationship of the university’s president with his team, and the cleanliness of the university caught my attention, making me hesitant to leave it.”
At the end of the visit, the University President, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi, presented gifts of appreciation to the members of the delegation.

 Signing a Scientific Agreement between Warith Al-Anbiyaa and Sulaymaniyah Universities
Warith Al-Anbiyaa University, represented by the Deanship of Engineering College, Dr. Waqed Al-Moussawi signed a scientific agreement with the University of Sulaymaniyah, which included a set of academic scientific agreements and programs, including the exchange of scientific visits and writing joint research between the professors of the two universities. In addition to evaluating performance, scientific supervision and benefiting from scientific expertise.

First Heads Meeting of the Educational and Health Institutions at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University
The first meeting of the heads of educational and health institutions at Alhussainia Holy Shrine was held on Wednesday Feb. 1st 2023 to discuss the possibility of cooperation in order to improve and achieve integration with the work of the institutions of Alhussainia Holy Shrine. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Sattar Al-Saadi, President of the Health and University Education Authority, and attended by the Presidency of Warith Al-anbiyaa University represented by Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi, the university hosted the first meeting. This meeting came to enhance cooperation between institutions and discuss issues of practical training for university students in health institutions and the need to provide all the necessary requirements to make the outputs of these institutions keep up-to-date with global developments.

Warith University receives the Director of the Ahl al-Bayt Center for Studies and Research in Tunisia. The Deanship of the College of Islamic Sciences, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Talal Al-Kamali, received AlSheikh Ahmed Salman, Director of the Ahl al-Bayt Center for Studies and Research in Tunisia and his accompanying delegation. The two parties discussed several matters, the most important of which is in the interest of the university student, especially Warith Al-Anbiyaa students.

The Launch Ceremony of the National Standards for the Accreditation of Nursing Programs
Warith University participates in the launch ceremony of the national standards for the accreditation of nursing programs. Under the sponsorship of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, and under the surveillance of the Head of the Supervision and Evaluation Authority, Prof. Dr. Salah Hadi Al-Fatlawi, the Dean of the Nursing College, Assistant Professor Dr. Murtada Al-Jubouri, participated in the celebration of launching the "Program Accreditation Standards for Iraqi Nursing Colleges in accordance with National Standards".
Dr. Murtada Al-Jubouri said:  The standards include a number of basic issues, namely (the issue of administration, the issue of the college, staff and personnel, the issue of students, the issue of curricula and finally the issue of educational outcomes).
There will be workshops to prepare self-assessment reports, and the mechanism of applying national programmatic standards was discussed at the ceremony as a starting point for obtaining programmatic accreditation that conforms to Nursing Curriculum Standards in reputable international colleges.

Warith Al-Anbiyaa University wins an advanced rank in the Iraqi Engineer Monument Competition
An Engineering College Student / Civil Engineering Department / Evening Studies, Ibrahim Qais Hatem, won an advanced rank in the exhibition of the advanced works of the Iraqi Engineer Monument competition held by Karbala Engineers Union under the sponsorship of Karbala Governon, Eng. Nassif Al-Khattabi and in the presence of the Iraqi Engineers Union, Thulfiqar Al-Maksousi and the Dean of Engineering College at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University, Prof. Dr. Waqid Al-Musawi.
Ibrahim Qaisem Hatem explained: The design idea of the engineer's monument emanates from the engineers who work within the triangle (cost, quality, creativity) and to create a link between the triangle and the sanctity of Karbala City, it was designed at an angle of 61 indicating the year of the occurrence of The Tuff Battle, and the second corner 72 indicating the number of heroes of that battle, and the third corner is open to indicate the continuation of the giving to our righteous martyrs who joined the rode of martyrs.

The President Participating in Opening Ceremony
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, inaugurated the College of Medicine at Al-Kafeel University. The opening ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi, President of the University, the governors of the holy city of Karbala and Najaf, as well as scientific, academic and social figures.
It should be noted that the presidency of the university seeks to open up to public and private universities by participating in scientific and academic conferences and forums because of its importance in supporting the educational process in our beloved country.

Honoring the Presidency of UOWA
The Clinic of the Popular Mobilization Authority, Kirkuk Branch, honors the presidency of Warith Al-Anbiyaa University. In appreciation of their efforts in serving the visitors of the Arbaeenia Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) every year, the Clinic of the Popular Mobilization Committee / Kirkuk Branch honored the University presidency of Warith Al-Anbiyaa as well as the Deanship of the Nursing College. The visiting delegation presented shields of thanks and gratitude for the facilities provided by the university every year through the installation of the mobile hospital inside the university to serve the visitors of Arbaeenia Imam Hussein in addition to volunteers from professors and students of the College of Nursing.
